First Post- Halloween 2008

So this is the first post of the Scott Family Blog... and given the season, it seems appropriate that the subject be Halloween. The boys were very excited to go to get our pumpkins this year, and it was a fun time. We went to the pumpkin patch with some friends who have kids, and we had a blast. It was super busy, but it worked out OK. We even had time to take a break and have some kettlecorn...

A couple weeks later Halloween rolled around and it was time to get the boys into their costumes. Matthew wanted to be Iron Man really bad, and Andrew was a chicken. He looked so cute in it, but he definiately did not want to wear it. When we had him put it on the night before Halloweeen to take photos, he cried so hard! He really did not want to be in that costume! We did manage to get some pictures of him without tears, so that was good. On Halloween we went to the home of some friends and went to trick-or-treat in their neighborhood with their two kids. It was a lot of fun! Here are some pictures of the boys in their costumes:

All in all it was a good Halloween. The boys seemed to enjoy themselves, and we had fun too. Next up is surviving Thanksgiving, and then Christmas. Holidays can be tough for and on kids, but the boys are getting along well, and I know that at least in Matthew's case, they are looking forward to Christmas with eager anticipation.
